They are a rare breed with their roots at the very beginning of horsemanship, and they have a history older and more fascinating than that of any single nation or culture. Known for their shiny coats and incredible athleticism.

Leo, his very name translates to Lionheart, and he wears it well. This 2020 buckskin PRE (Pura Raza Española), is a young representative of centuries of Spanish equestrian tradition — one that marries beauty, athleticism, and a spirit bred for kings and warriors.

Native to the isle of St.Croix, this is a hair sheep which means they are not grown for fiber as their wool hair hybrid fiber sheds naturally. Michael Piel of Maine first brought one ram and two ewe “Virgin Island White” sheep into the U.S. in the 1960s, for use in the formation of the Katahdin breed. Their meat is known to be aromatic and mild in flavor.
