RC Estate has been family-owned and tended for over a decade on working land in Miami County, Kansas. This place is personally tended — not managed from a distance. The agricultural practices here go beyond organic — because the soil and the animals deserve more than a certification.
This is not a typical boarding stable. It is small, quiet, and private by design. What grows here — the food, the community, the horsemanship — grows slowly and with intention.
Membership is free. Contribution is welcome when you're ready. The legacy being built here is meant to outlast all of us.

Come as a Guest. Leave as a Neighbor.

We host, compete & share in carriage driving, fox hunting and other venerable disciplines because they are worth keeping — not as relics, but as living practices with something still to teach anyone willing to learn them.
Outdoor arenas, obstacle courses, and cross-country ground are here for those who come to school, compete, or simply watch what a well-trained horse and a good driver can do together.
Come as a spectator. Come to school your horse on new ground. Come to compete. Or come with something larger in mind — we have hosted people building programs of their own, and that kind of work is some of our favorite kind.

Holistic care starts with the soil and works its way up through the pasture, the stock, and the table.
We raise clean whole foods, conserve heritage breeds, and share what we know with people who care about the same things.
Primitive camping, overnight stays during events, farm visits, and knowledge shares through the year.
Come for what the land is offering. Stay for the community growing it.

The more we know, the more we grow! Getting our whole foods from local sources is healthier and more cost effective, as well as supports local food systems which can save communities. The fuel and funds it takes to transport food from other countries or even counties is lost and wasted when we can support farms and craftsman right in our own neighborhood. Store bought food isn't transparent and we really have no idea where it comes from. It gets packaged and sits, shipped and sits again. Repackaged added toxins and recolored so it looks fresh. Who wants to eat that? And how we see, we aren't even being fed food sometimes, and, it's only getting worse! Plus the food is safer not having to have the added toxins that are used to preserve food for the long haul.
You reserve the animal from the farm, we do the rest. You'll pick up your custom cut at the processor when they collect thier fees.
Even better! If the occasion arrises that we hand feed anything out of a specific need, it is an organic local mix. Beyond organic in the garden as we don't use pesticides that are allowed in certified organic mixes.
Membership is not a fee — it is a relationship. Members hear first when something is ready, available, or worth coming out for. It costs nothing to join and asks only one thing — genuine interest in where your food comes from and how things are kept. Everything else follows naturally from that. If you are reading this, you are already in!
